The A team (A1 and 2) tryouts will be held at Burnaby 8 Rinks - 6501 Sprott St on the indoor turf field. All players attending tryouts must be registered and have paid fees in order to tryout for an A level team.
In the timeframe between the end of the evaluations at 8 Rinks and when the New Westminster arena’s open for box lacrosse, we may possibly use outdoor boxes (dependent on the weather) for all age groups to continue the next round of evaluations and / or practices. Queen’s Park Arena is scheduled to open in late March and Moody Park Arena is scheduled to open early April, 2020.
The Novice Checking Clinic is scheduled for February 12th from 7:00-8:00pm at Glenbrook Middle School gym. First year novice players and those second year novice players who are new to lacrosse, are required to attend this clinic to learn the proper fundamentals for checking which is introduced at the novice level. Please wear full equipment gear to this session!
