I wish to extend a huge THANK YOU and express my heartfelt appreciation to the team of volunteers and organizers for their superb effort and hard work toward putting on a truly memorable John Witt Memorial Bellie Bowl tournament in New Westminster this past weekend. I speak for many participants and spectators of this event who thought the tournament was extremely well organized and the effort towards raising funds for the New Westminster Minor Lacrosse Association was remarkable. A special thank you goes out to the Tournament Coordinator, Karen Peterson, for her countless hours of selfless hard work towards this event and the NWMLA in general throughout the season. It is because of the dedication and commitment from volunteers like Karen that our children are able to flourish in the sport of lacrosse in New Westminster, collecting a lifetime of fond memories.
