The 2008 Lacrosse season is fast approaching and we hope that your children will continue to be part of our organization.
Lacrosse is Canada's national summer sport and is considered the fastest game on two feet. New Westminster has a long standing reputation in the game of Lacrosse and the New Westminster Minor Lacrosse Association is proud to offer the youth of New Westminster a positive and safe recreational choice.

Please register on the noted dates. Registrations received after February 2, 2008 will be placed on a waiting list.
A care card number and a photocopy of the players' birth certificate are to be submitted with the registration form for all NEW players and for those who do not have them on file. Also, proof of residency is required for all new players, i.e. city utility bill or telephone bill.

Family Rates For Registration
Regular rates for the oldest two children. Each additional child will be $30.00.
Registration Offer:
NWMLA is offering a $20 discount on one registration fee (Max: 1 discount per registration) to an existing player for a referral of a new player to lacrosse in the Divisions of Novice, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget. The referred player must provide the name of the existing player at registration. A new player is determined to be a player who did not play lacrosse in 2007. Note: This is does not apply to a family member.

EQUIPMENT
Lacrosse equipment is available from a variety of sporting goods stores. For those who play hockey, the same equipment can be used. Please click here for detailed EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES.
You will need:
Mini-Tyke
Approved helmet with an approved wire faceguard, shoulder pads, kidney pads, hockey or lacrosse gloves, knee and elbow pads, athletic support with cup for boys, jill for girls, mouth guard and a good pair or running shoes.
Tyke
All of the above, slash guards optional.
Novice and above
All of the above plus slash guards. (Knee Pads are optional for Novice and above.)
Sticks
Many players, especially those starting out find it easier to use (and care for) the plastic headed stick with an aluminum or wood shaft
Goalies
All equipment for the goalies (except for their helmet, gloves and jock) is supplied to ensure maximum protection
