Financial Assistance

Are you looking for some assistance with your child's lacrosse fees? Check out these organizations whose purpose is to provide financial assistance to help all kids play sports:

KidSport™ Canada is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process they provide grants “So All KidsCan Play”.  Please see http://www.kidsportcanada.ca/british-columbia/new-west/ for information on KidSport New West.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities  ("Jumpstart”)  - Jumpstart’s core purpose is to enrich the lives of kids in financial need through sports and physical activity. The Jumpstart Electronic Application is an online application that a Parent/Guardian can use to submit a request for funding to Jumpstart on behalf of their child/children age 4-18.  See http://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/en/ for information on how to apply to the program.

Athletics for Kids provides funding assistance to ensure all British Columbia children, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to youth amateur sport.  See http://www.a4k.ca/ for more information and how to apply to the program. 

 
Players who qualify for funding under the KidSport or Jumpstart program may contact our VP of Equipment  at equipment@minorbellies.com to learn about our funding assistance program for lacrosse equipment.  NWMLA wants to remove all financial barriers  “So All Kids Can Play” the great game of lacrosse!
