Congratulations to New Westminster's U19 team for capturing yet another Provincial Championship.
U12 Tier 1 Capture Provincial Gold
Congratulations to all of the coaches and players of the
U12 Tier 1 team who captured gold at this past weekend's Provinicial Field Lacrosse Championships at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex.
This talented group went undefeated in round robin play then continued their winning ways with an 8-6 victroy over arch rival Poco in the Gold Medal game.
Team members include Dylan Sharpe, Jordan McKenzie, Preston Lupul, Hayden Goss, Owen Ballance, Connor Robinson, Kalan MacKay, Mathew Sweeney, Lee Wiseman, Mitchell Stokes, Nolan Duncan, Treysin Kupillas, Sean Riordan, Ryan Wilkinson, Josh Lauener, Max Gerhardt & Sean Fitzsimmons.

BCLA CHOOSES NEW WESTMINSTER COACHES
The British Columbia Lacrosse Association has named two New Westminster coaches as Head Coaches of Provincial Teams. Barry Castagner has been named Head Coach of the 2009 Team BC Under 16 Selects team, and Richard Browning has been named Head Coach of the 2009 Team BC Bantam Girls team. Congratulations Barry and Rich!

PEE WEE A1's ARE PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to our Pee Wee A1 team for taking home the gold medal at the recently competed PEE WEE Provincial Championships in Chilliwack. New West defeated Coquitlam in the final 12-7 and Preston Lupul was named game and TOURNAMENT MVP.
Game stars for the tournament were Keanu Fernandez, Ryan Wilkinson, Connor Robinson, Jordan McKenzie, Nik Lund-Murray and Liam Bujnowicz. Other team members include Hayden Goss, Stefan Potiaev, Mitchell Stokes, Kalan MacKay, Sean Fitzsimmons, Jenna Chernoff, Mathew Sweeney and Mitchell Flintoff.
